Education:
To become a medical illustrator, one must be able to draw or create images of the human and animal bodies as well as plants. There are bachelor's degree programs that offer a combination of science and art education. All students are required to have obtained their high school diploma or GED certificate.
Demand or Need for this profession:
There is a projected growth in employment between 10% and 25% since the year 2010.

I don't think I would like to be one, because I wouldn’t want this career. I would like to do more than just illustrate resources. I know there would be more for me to do, so I already decided on my future career. As I would love to work with kids.
