   Tyler Haws shows how one can be certain about the outcome of their actions. As from being a star basketball player for 2 years to becoming a missionary. He believes that all things will happen positively, he trusts that. When it comes to everyone else, it is well rewarded to choose the righteous path. As Tyler Haws chose to serve as a missionary, he left his basketball team. Haws did choose the better path to help others, as he later became the top scorer of BYU. This shows how choosing the better path pays off. You know when you chose the right when you trust the positive outcomes.

The Truly Good

As goodness=greatness, George Chapman shows that those who are great are good. When making good and righteous decisions, you show your greatness. With our school motto/ or quote "You are greatness waiting to happen.", this quote shows how you can be. Like you can have a great personality, with it you can have a good conscience. It is best to show how great you can be by how good you act. Choosing the right would show most of these qualities. So it is best to show those around you the best of you, this shows how great you are.

Optician

Duties and Responsibilities:

An optician helps their patients fit their contact lenses. This is done after the optician receives a prescription from the ophthalmologist and/or  optometrist. They assist and help their customer or patient decide which eye contact lenses to buy, sometimes even frames.

Salary:$29,350-$39,380

Education:

In order to become an optician, a high school diploma is needed(or the equivalent). On-job training would be needed, which includes instruction. In training sales and office management practices are learned. This type of training and assistance would typically last about 2 years.

Demand or Need for this Profession:

The occupation is seen to grow by 24% from the years 2014-2024. The growth in the aging population is seen to begin a greater demand for eye caring professions.

I think I would not like to be one. I have already chosen my future career. I would like to be an art therapist, and this career seemed to have surprised me. It is a rather interesting career, but I don’t think this career is well suited for my personality.

When it comes to accomplishing your goals, it is already known what is wrong and what is right. As you know when you're cheating, which is wrong. When making the wrong decisions, you will not always feel good about it. It will leave you with guilt until you do what is right. As George Mitchell's statement is true. It is the best to choose the right instead of cheat your way to victory. Because the outcome would only be a lie, instead of the truth.

This quote by Dale Murphy shows how Dale Murphy would not do anything that is seen as wrong. Choosing to not cheat is to choose the better path in life. As Murphy shows this as an athlete who a shows good actions on and off the field. Cheating is a way of deceiving those around you and getting what you want through a shortcut. It is not fair to others around you. It is best to be fair to others. As there are better and more positive outcomes if you choose to be fair than to cheat.

When it comes to your personality, character shows who you really are. The word "character" is defined as the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. To show good character, you must act with good intentions. It is all on the person to make the right choice. As a person with bad character will not be seen as good as a person without it. So it is best to choose the right and show the best character you can spread. As you know a person without good character will not be seen as the best.   

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick was known as the patron saint of Ireland. He was a widely known Christian figure. Although he was not really from the Emerald Isle, he is not Irish. He was born in Britain to a wealthy family, this was near the end of the fourth century. At the age of 16, Patrick was taken prisoner by a group of Irish raiders. 6 years in captivity, he turned to his family religion and converted to a devout Christian. He eventually returned to his family, then went back to Ireland. Becoming a missionary and ordained minister until his death in March 17th 460 A.D.

St. Patrick's Day also known as the Feast of St. Patrick Day is a religious and cultural celebration. This day is celebrated every year on the 17th of March. This was the day he died in the year 460 A.D.

March 17th is a day in observance of St. Patrick's Day. As it is to honor the patron saint of Ireland.  

Blue was the original color used for this holiday. Although the nickname of Ireland is the "Emerald Isle", so this changed the color to green as the color's popularity grew on the holiday.

When it comes to a person's personality and character, it is very good for someone to have a good heart. Having a good heart gives you a positive reputation, as you would be well known. No matter how beautiful or good looking you are, how much value your possessions are. None of it will ever really matter but who you really are. Being humble and kind to others beyond your wealth is valued. Others will know you, they would not think wrong of you. If you were to be a good looking, wealthy person, with no good character. Then your reputation would only have a negative outlook on yourself. So it's best to do what is right and be of a kind heart.

Ophthalmologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ophthalmologists are doctors who treat diseases and conditions that affect the eye. Known to be general "eye doctors", but the ophthalmologist performs any eye surgeries as well as treat diseases. An ophthalmologist can also examine eyes and, prescribe contact lenses or glasses if needed.

Education:  

Medical school completion, with a 3-8 years internship/ residency. To practice this profession a state license is require.

The outlook of this occupation is seen to grow  by 14% from the years if 2014-2024.

I think it would be interesting to become one, but I would also find it challenging. An ophthalmologist would have to be patient, and very passionate about their profession. I have already decided on my future career, as I would love to work with children. I would love a career involving children because I feel I have that kind of patience.

In life all your decisions impact how your future will be. The best thing to do for yourself  is to choose the best decisions. As when you make the right choice and act accordingly, your future will build in a positive way. Your reputation will be positive and people will be able to count on you. Unless you were to make the wrong choices, there would be a whole range of consequences. Your reputation would be negative, and those around you would not see you for who you can be. So it's best to choose the right, so all you can wait for success in the end.

Operating Room Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

An operating room technician assists the operating team by preparing the needed room for the patient. As well as monitor the patient's vital signs, they are also to clean up after the procedure has been completed and finished.

Salary: $44,330

Education:

With this occupation not a state regulated profession, many employers do look for any certification of or technicians. Candidates for this profession must be a graduate from an accredited program. With the need to renew certification every 4-5 years by continuing to complete education.  

Demand or Need for this Profession:

Demand for operating room technicians is seen to grow by 15% within the years of 2014-2024. This is due to the increased population as well as aging. With the need of employees to work 40 hours a week and willing to be on-call for any needed emergencies.

I do not think I would like to be one, as it is overwhelming. I would be exhausted and will never be able to make time for myself. Which I know I will need at one point, I respect those in this profession. As they have patience and determination. Which is a very difficult thing to do.

This quote shows how one can know from right or wrong. Each person has the knowledge and capability to know what to do. As Otto Graham shows this through the quote, he tries to speak to everyone. Being raised in a household with manners as a child, everyone learns through their parent's actions. Leaving you to grow up learning right from wrong, it allows you to grow better and more as a person. Your own judgment is what decides the outcomes or consequences of your actions. Choosing the right allows you to have a easier life and less things to worry about. But if you choose to make the wrong decisions, it leaves in a tougher and more difficult place as before.  

Occupational Medicine Physician

Duties and Responsibilities:

A physician that specializes in health issues involving the workplace. Usually seen as consultants, they determine the cause of the work related incident. They also are to assess in order to see how serious the incident was. As medical screenings may be conducted or even tests on the employer.

Education:

In order to become an occupational medicine physician, one must receive a degree in medicine as well as best preferred a doctor's degree.

Demand or Need for this Profession:

With this profession being in the surgeon and physician category, the outlook of this occupation would be projected to grow by 14%m in the span of 7 years.

I don’t think I would like to be one, as it is not for me. I categorize myself in my well known interests, with this not being one of them. I love standing out, yet I would like to have a career that I would love and enjoy. With that being said I would like to have a career involving children, as one of my strengths is patience.

If you were to be a person who did not care about others and did whatever you pleased. Then you would be left with a bad impression. But if you were to do good things, as well as think of others. Your reputation and honor would be positive. So it is best to do what is right. As it leaves you in a better place than doing wrong will.

Nursing Home Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

A nursing home administrator specializes in health and medical services. As their job is to look over any administrative and clinical business involving nursing home and facilities. Their other duties are to oversee:

Education:

In order to become a nursing home administrator, you must at least receive a 4 year bachelor's degree. Also, you will likely need to pass a state licensing exam. I would not like to become or look to this career, as it involves memorization. As well as to know from what is correctly followed and what isn't. This occupation seems to involve sort of like a rating scale and seeing what is best for others. I truthfully would have more patience with kids than with adults.
