“You will go far with CTR.”
                                           -Mr.Haymore

Image result for mr.haymore           This quote means that if you chose to be a better person, if you make only the best decisions for you and others… You will continue to grow and excel in nearly everything positive. As all things will fall into place positively. When making decisions, always choose the better and the right ones. Everyone knows what is right and what is wrong to do and say. As you know that there consequences to your actions, there are rewards to your good deeds. Not all rewards are visible, but eventually you will see the better outcomes when choosing and making the right decisions. So it is best to choose the right, as it will keep you on the right path, but also benefit those around you.
Class Evaluation
There are many things that I liked about this class. Some of these things were when we got to get up and talk to other classmates to share about a topic. Also the computer coding lessons I really enjoyed, they were really fun and understandable. I also liked doing some of my own research  at times. I liked Mr. Haymore’s positive attitude, as well as some quotes that were in our student success statements.
The thing I didn’t like in this class was the out of class assignments, I did not have access to the internet at times when needed. I  wouldn’t be at home at times either. Some of the assignments were put on a weekend when I stay with my father without access to a computer. Also the computer vocabulary flashcards for this class I did not like.
I recommend that more microsoft onedrive be used more. In 7th grade, I had a computer class, we had nearly the same lesson routine. But eventually we learned how to graph data from a table and we learned how to edit and alter images. I feel that this class can add more lessons other than khan academy. Also, it is best to continue the khan academy lessons. The lessons are very informing, and also challenging but enjoyable.
A highlight for me in this class was when we began working on the CTR project. Also those project activities with the workbook, as well when we worked on the Code website and the Khan Academy website. Many activities that were out of routine were a highlight for me, change would be a nice surprise to me in this class.
I did try my best in this class, I like working on computers. I’ve had 3 computer classes since throughout my school years. I enjoyed and passed all of them. I challenged myself at times and there were times where I needed to complete an assignment and barely anything stopped me. Like when doing research. I wouldn't move on until I have completed the assignment. I will always try in a class I really enjoy, I really enjoyed being in this class.
I do read my journal everyday actually. Some goals I can't believe I wrote down. Sometimes if I know I’m going to write little goals one day, I try to write as much as I can. I have accomplished 20+ goals, I try my best to review my goals when I can. I actually like the concept of having a goals journal, it helps me keep track. Also, it pushes and encourages me to try to complete them.
I cannot be committed to being a CTR person 24/7, unfortunately. I feel that it can’t be as simple as sewing for me. I know I will make mistakes, and there will be times where I know I would do something wrong. This does not mean that I will always choose the wrong and not care. I will always try my best to make the right decisions, I still will try to avoid the difficulties in high school. I will always try my best to be a better person, as I know what’s to happen if I stray from the right path.

“THE ULTIMATE CHOICE is to be a CTR Person- to Always CHOOSE THE RIGHT  24/7!!!.”
         -Mr. Haymore

When it comes to you making your own decisions, Mr. Haymore states that the ultimate choice is to become a CTR person always. As when becoming a CTR person completely changes and affects your life after. It does not ruin your life, it does not harm those around you. But it benefits you in many ways, as it allows you to be better overall. There would be no consequences to anything, as you wouldn’t be doing anything wrong. Choosing the wrong will only lead you to a difficult future, as well to many consequences that would affect you and those around you. So it is better to be a CTR person always, than to choose the wrong.
Mount Saint Mary’s University
I chose this university as a topic because I was sent a letter. I did further research on this school and found that they have majors in psychology. This was the first letter I have received from any university, and when conducting more research I found out how interesting this college is. As far as now I am considering this to be one of the main colleges I would want to apply and attend to. It is in Los Angeles, which would be a benefit to me, also it would be a great opportunity for me to have a chance to possibly apply to this university. This university offers courses involving psychology as well as counseling, which is what I am looking for in a university.

Mount Saint Mary’s University is a private university primarily for women. It is known that 95% of the first-year undergraduate class is of women. There are 2 campuses known as both are 16 miles apart, with one being in Brentwood, and the other being in North University Park, near Downtown Los Angeles. This university offers 20+ undergraduate majors, as well as 30+ minors. Those who are accepted into the university usually have a 3.0-3.5 B/B+ average. Mount Saint Mary’s University also is Catholic university as well. Allowing those who are religious to be comfortable in this university. This university was founded in 1650, in Le Puy France. In 1925, the university was established and welcomed students of all faiths. This school offers a leadership group, as well as groups involved in the catholic faith. Character
If there is beauty in character,
there will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home,
there will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
there will be peace in the world.
Conclusion:
Is there is beauty in character,
there will be peace in the world.
                   Chinese Proverb
This is how having good character is perceived, as it is well rewarded overall. Having good character can impact and lead to many great things. Peace is defined as freedom from disturbance: quiet and tranquility. Also freedom from or the cessation of war or violence. With great and beautiful character one can help make and bring peace to your home. From there it will eventually spread to the nation. If it was to continue, it would spread to the world. That’s why it is best to have great character that can be spread and appreciated all over the world.

“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder.”
                         -Thomas Carlyle
File:Brosen propelersterntychy.jpg - Wikimedia Commons        A rudder directs a ship and which direction to go. This would symbolize your goals because this is how your goals can push you in the right directions. Without a rudder where would the ship go? Without any goals where would you go? NOWHERE! When it comes to making goals, it helps you create a path to victory. Everyone has at least one goal, sometimes they may not know it or realize how it can benefit them. No matter how small, goals are goals. Let them direct you like a rudder on a ship and guide you to victory!

Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial, Day - Free images on Pixabay
This memorial day weekend, I went to visit my grandparents and my aunt in Gilroy. My aunt recently had a baby, he is now 2 months old and his name is Aaron. I met her husband-to-be, his name is Richard. The night we arrived at their house was Saturday, it was a 5 hour drive from Long Beach. On Sunday morning my aunt had made us breakfast and together we all went to a nearby wharf. It was called Fisherman’s Wharf, there they had more than 2 candy shops, restaurants, gift shops, and some musicians were playing and singing on the docks. After, we ate at a nearby restaurant called Benihana, there the food was cooked in front of us. The food was delicious, it was a Japanese style meal. Then for dessert, we went to a Ghirardelli shop to get ice cream. I got a scoop of cookies and cream with a sugar cone, which was so good. Even after that we went across the street where a candy shop was. The area is well known for it's salt-water taffy. We did so much on Sunday, Monday was a really calm day. We went to visit my grandparents at their jobs, at my grandpa’s job we got food. Since he is a cook at the restaurant where he works, he cooked our food. After that we were on our way. The drive to-and-back was at about 5 hours. It was not boring or irritating, eventually when we were nearby the house my dad bought us pizza and Starbucks. This past weekend was fun, and I enjoyed being with my family and I hope to go back to see them soon.

“When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive”
                    -Alan Paton
Forgive means to stop feeling angry or resentful toward someone for an offense, flaw, or mistake.

When it comes to someone offending you or hurting you in any way, in order for you to move on you must forgive. Personally at times it is easy to forgive someone after they have made a small mistake. But if someone were to hurt me or offend me in a very difficult way, it would take time for me to forgive. Eventually you must forgive those who have hurt you in order to move on. It can be very difficult, but it will not benefit you or the person if you don't forgive. You will only be able to grow as a person, it will allow you to be at peace. When you don't forgive the person it may even affect those surrounding you. So it is best to follow Alan Paton’s quote, forgiving some will help you recover but avoiding it can hold you back.

Do Right
“Dare to do right.”
                            -Rex D. Pinegar
This quote is very easy to understand. Sometimes you can be left to make a “difficult” decision, but the best choice is the right choice. As Rex D. Pinegar quotes, “Dare to do right.” he states it right then and there. It is the better character to make the right choices, even if you may stick out or even be see as the “bad” one. You have to be brave enough to make the right decisions and to choose the right. Pinegar’s quote shows this, as you can only have the best outcomes and you would also be trusted when taking responsibility. With this, you should never take the easy way out, you should  “DARE TO DO RIGHT” and choose the right decisions when the time comes.

“Dare to stand alone.”
                                      -Thomas S. Monson

Thomas S. Monson | hljavery@verizon.net | Flickr    If you are ever pushed to be alone for the best for yourself, do it! If you know what is right and you stand up for it by yourself, stay on it! No matter how much you stand out, don't conform to the wrongdoings of others. When you have to, it is better to be alone and doing the right thing than to do the wrong thing with the wrong people. You can be the better person, who makes the best decision. When making the wrong choices, you will be alone to blame. So it is better to be alone focusing on your right and good path. Don't stray away to the path of choosing the wrong and affecting your future. Be a CTR person and “dare to stand alone” if you need to.

If I’ve got correct goals, and if I keep pursuing them the best way I know how, everything else falls into line. If I do the right thing, I’m going to succeed.”
                 -Dan Dierdorf
This quote shows how only those with good intentions will fully succeed. As only doing the right thing will forever benefit you. Eventually all your hard work will pay off from being the best you can be. As if you act kindly and make the right choices, then you will be seen well. One can always be seen by their intentions and whether they are good or bad. If they are good, all the other things will fall into place as you work to accomplish the goals. But if you have the wrong intentions and choose to do them the “easy” way, then there would be consequences. As well as also it would be more difficult to fully accomplish what you want. “In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing.”
                                    -Theodore Roosevelt
When it comes to the need to take an action, it is the best thing to do the right thing. As Theodore Roosevelt had stated, you must acknowledge this quote. If you were to do the opposite of this, there would only be consequences to those actions. Many people chose the “easy way out”, but you have to ask yourself; Is it really the right way? NO. It's not all, it will only bring you lower than where you already are. As the only way you can have a positive through doing the better deed. If a parent were to trust you with a chore, then it is your responsibility to do it. But if you were to ignore what your parents had asked, there will be a consequence to that. The only way you can avoid the consequences is by choosing the right. It will only help you and others surrounding you.

Nothing
“Nothing is ever gained in doing what’s wrong.”
                                                                           -Wilford Woodruff
This quote shows how an individual cannot have any good outcomes when doing the opposite of what is good. As there are consequences to your actions, and rewardings to your good deeds. Even when  you think something good is coming out of something bad, you’re wrong. When only thinking of yourself and not considering others, those are selfish acts. That is why it is best to remember that you should treat others the way you want to be treated. As you reap what you sew, this even comes towards your own actions. It is best to do what is right, it is both rewarding and a better thing to do for yourself and others. To be a CTR person as well as to show great character, instead of choosing the wrong and suffering the consequences.

“It's A GREAT MOMENT when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time.”

-Pam Knox

When a mistake is made, it is best to take full responsibility for it. As it shows how you can be trusted, as well as well looked upon by others. Being an honest person shows how you have good character. Although it may depend on the situation, you should always take responsibility for the actions you made. Also when the opportunity comes, you can step up and be a better person. The outcomes of hiding your responsibilities will only make things harder on you. So it's best to choose the right and take responsibility for your actions and choices.

Word of Honor

"I have been asked what I mean by 'word of honor'. I will tell you: Place me behind prison walls-walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground-there is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can I get out of that circle? No, never! I'd die first."
                                                                                               -Karl G. Maeser

This quote means how you must keep and maintain your word no matter what. Up until death when it is complete. When it comes to a promise, you know you must always keep to it until you have lived up to it. Many people disappoint others when they promise something or give their word but it never is the case. It is best that before you make a promise, you know if what you're saying is true. I personally can never make a promise unless I know I will never forget and I would surely live up to it. It is best to give someone your true and honest word as it is of good character. To keep your priorities aligned will also help you and aid you throughout your life. This also shows responsibility, as the outcomes will would be beneficial for you and the others you promised. As if it were to be the opposite, it would reflect on how you will be perceived. So it is best to make the promise you know that you will and can make, but also to never avoid trying your best.

The 10 Indian Commandments
  1. Treat the Earth and all that dwells therein with respect.
  2. Remain close to the Great Spirit
  3. Show great respect to your fellow beings.
  4. Work together for the benefit of all mankind.
  5. Give assistance and kindness whenever needed.
  6. Do what you know to be right.
  7. Look after the well-being of mind and body.
  8. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.
  9. Be truthful and honest at all times.
  10. Take full responsibility for your actions.
When it comes to the 10 Commandments, I think of the bible and the story of Moses. I don't mean to offend anyone, I will respect these beliefs. However, when it comes to why you follow something it is because it is the right thing to do. I try to follow the 10 Commandments of the bible, with these being somewhat similar. The main focus of these commandments(above) is to be a better person. These commandments are to show respect to everything and everyone. It is the right thing to do for yourself and others. As the outcomes will only be positive, because it brings unity and kindness among others. So it's better to follow the 10 Commandments, being how you stand and where you come with your heritage.
